Y’all, I have traveled A LOT these past two years. I took six trips with flights last year and have at least four this year. While I love my Longchamp tote, I have found that a two-handle bag is not ideal for me because I very, very, very rarely check my luggage. Juggling straps and carrying two bags on one shoulder have been challenging on my last few flights.
I decided I needed a cross-body bag. After an exhaustive search of two stores, I found this bag from JC Penney. It’s not a true cross-body bag, but I pull the strap longer to wear it that way.
Here’s what’s in my bag:
Boarding passes and itinerary
Wallet with IDs
Cell phone with charger and headphones
Book: I own a lot of books. If I’m currently reading one (because I do not start a new book before I finish the one I’m reading), I pack it, or I find a book that fits well in this bag.
Wet Wipes: I always wondered why parents packed these for plane rides. My final leg home from Virginia, my tray table was straight up nasty. Add this to the fact that I normally use my tray table to sleep one. Gross.
What do y’all take on trips?
